The memory function is a convenient feature - when the color changing lamp is turned off and on with the remote, the flush mount light will retain the last lighting mode. (Note: Activating the memory function with the remote control will only take effect when a light mode has been on for more than 1 minute and off for more than 10 seconds. The wall switch can remember color temperature, brightness, and RGB Color or RGB Mode. The remote or wall switch will bring the light back on at its previously selected color temperature and brightness.)
